twitches/tremors

I am 50. A while back I had a nerve twitching in my face. It was quite strong and affected the right side of my face and especially my lip. It was quite visible as it made my bottom lip stick right out. It lasted for about a month/6 weeks and then stopped. A week or so later I started to get twitches/tremors in my right thumb when my arm was down by my side and completely at rest. A few months later, it is still doing it. It happens a few times a week but not for very long. Then when I am using my computer at a desk and my arms are up, it does it then as well. It eased off and has now started up again.

I am not sure if I am being a bit paranoid. I am a doctor avoider usually. Would you go and ask about it?

Yes in case it’s something like Vitamin D or B12 deficiency that they can test for and easily treat.
Magnesium deficiency can also cause twitches and tremors but isn’t routinely tested.

Could be so many things. A vitamin deficiency, post covid symptom, even stress. Best checked out.

For me, I twitched for 18 months when I was under a huge amount of stress. I started imagining I have ALS or something and got seen and they found nothing at all wrong with me. Then at some point life got less stressful and I noticed I hadn't twitched in weeks and hadn't paid any attention it - it had just stopped at some point.

My eye twitched for weeks

It went eventually so I put it down to tiredness and stress

Thanks people.

I might take some extra vitamins for a while to see. I get the eye twitching from time to time but have never had anything like this.

I am always a bit stressed so that won't help! 🫤

Did this go? I have had this for a few weeks on my face near my eyebrow. (It was everywhere at one point but seems to just be my face now)
