Flu jab when ill

Would you have a flu jab when you're already ill? I'm really rundown with a cold and body aches. Can still do some stuff but pretty tired and mostly resting. Don't know whether to just have it today as scheduled or reschedule it for Monday.

We're always advised to wait till you feel well to have any jab.

I’d wait. Your immune system is already occupied in fighting your current virus, so I’d wait until that’s over before asking it to do more work.

Thanks, yeah I was thinking that but the pharmacy said as long as no fever it's fine. Doesn't really sit right with me though as I do feel pretty rough despite no temperature.
