Tooth/mouth pain

I have had pain off and on for the past year, mainly from the top left side at the very back of my mouth where there isn’t even a tooth directly below.
I have been back to the dentist many times since, had a root canal on one of my back molars, a filling on the molar next to it, and all my wisdom teeth out. Have spent a small fortune yet none of this seems to have helped.
I have just been back to the dentist again who has x-rayed these teeth again and confirmed no issues. It is so frustrating as I cannot pin point where the pain is coming from and there seems to be so many different sensations ranging from a dull ache, stinging burning feel or even like my inner cheek is swollen and rubbing (it isn’t, just feels that way).
I also seem to be getting a bit of an ache on the other side although this is far less frequent or painful.
I don’t really know where to go now, is it worth a 2nd opinion? The pain isn’t unbearable but I am aware of it everyday.

Have you considered it might be trigeminal neuralgia or something similar?

Could be sinus related
