Dental implant North West/North East/Scotland

I now need two to three dental implants, I am a very nervous patient and would consider travel to north west, north east or Scotland. Any advice and ideas appreciated?

My usual dental surgery which were lovely has been private for ages but has recently been taken over and the prices of everything have doubled and the dentists seem to be trained in upselling!! The last time I enquired over a year ago it was starting from 4K upwards for one.

I'm in Scotland and have just paid a bit over £2k for my dental implant. I went to Greygables dental in East Kilbride and they were excellent.
Not sure how feasible it would be for you though to travel though as I needed loads of appointments over about 18 months in total.

Thanks for replying and good to hear your feedback. I didn’t realise it was as many appointments or would take quite as long. Was that at a private clinic or on the NHS please?

It was private. In Scotland you can't get dental implants on the NHS. I think I visited the surgery around 10 times in total. Every stage has to heal which takes about 3 months so it takes a really long time. Hope you get sorted!

I went to infinity blu in Duns (so not too far over the Scottish border) - lovely relaxed practice and I’m pleased with the finished job but it wasn’t cheap (sorry had other work done at the same time so I’m not sure but the implant, one post, two teeth, must have been around £5k)
