Long-term fluconazole and alcohol?

I’ve got recurrent thrush and today the GP has prescribed 150mg fluconazole every 72 hours for three doses, then one tablet a week for 6 months. After I’d left, I got a follow-up text from the practice to say he’d forgotten to mention that in rare cases, fluconazole can affect the liver so he’d like me to book in for bloods in January to make sure all is well. I am now wondering if I’m OK to drink alcohol while taking it long-term? I’ve googled and I know for a one-off dose it’s fine, but does anyone know if it’s OK when on a long-term regimen?

I only drink at weekends and typically don’t go over my weekly units, but I’m conscious Christmas is approaching and I’d prefer not to be sober all the time if possible (apart from anything else, I don’t want everyone thinking I’m pregnant!)
