Could this be infected ?

Got a small mole removed five weeks ago using dissolvable stitches . Over last few days feels. Bit sore , bled slightly yesterday and today looks red .
im worried it could be infected but no pus , no oozing etc . Anyone had anything similar ? Worried about sepsis risk hence asking on here and yes I will visit gp

That looks very sore. I would make an emergency GP appointment. How big was the mole? Was it sent off for analysis?

Nurse here. Possibly but no pus is a good sign. Redness and soreness could be an indicator of infection. Is it hot?

Best thing as you say is GP. I'd ring at 8 tomorrow for a same day appointment.

@Thenewnewme it was really small and yea was sent off . No results as yet

@Tulips78 no pus atall . Not hot . Feels a bit achy though . Got myself in a panic as I’ve had sepsis before and every infection risk I worry
