Recently tested positive in pre op visit.
I can't work out if this is something to be very careful about in terms of passing it on .
Went to a second pre op appointment and nearby caused a critical incident .
I shouldn't have attended ( I hadn't realised and no one said not to )and there was a lot of concern -area would have to be closed off and deep cleaned, nurse worried about her pregnant daughter. Advised to cancel hair appointment.
But partner at appointment about his eczema ravaged feet found consultant not concerned or interested in swabbing.
Infection control at hospital quite happy for me to have hair cut and also for me to use WC cubicle at GP practice to swab self.
Any thoughts ?
