I am looking for some advice/ experience of others or opinions on this please.
My son has had left sided abdomen pain a few days and said felt a swelling. He has had 2 hernias when younger so gp ordered a ultrasound last Friday.
On Sunday playing football my son was doubled over not only with intense pain in side but left testicle too.
We saw a urology Dr who at first wanted to take him to theatre incase of a torsion but as pain eased changed that to an urgent scan Monday.
Ultrasound on Monday said couldn't do the testicular scan until Tuesday evening, which we have today, but they cannot give us date when groin scan regarding the pain in side will ve due to it being a particular member of staff.
My sons testicle pain gas gone away buf the keft abdominal pain is far worse, he doesn't like yo bend to side etc and he is bringing his food back up, not a huge amount of vomit but some everytime he eats.
Would you go back to a and e if nothing is picked up on testicular scan this evening?
As I feel that the abdomen pain and nausea is quite a cause for concern.
