Hi, I had an ERCP procedure to remove a gallstone a week and a half a go an I was wondering what peoples experience was on recovery.

I was rough for the first few days with very upset stomatch and then started to feel better, over the last couple of days I have developed a bit of dull ache which twinges on the right side under my rib and also I have started to pass gas lots.

Just wondering if anyone else had the same issues of discomfort a week and a half after the procedure (ERCP endoscopy) and if it is normal to have a very sligth up tick in discomofot. To note I have been fairly busy over the past couple of days a sI was feling OK.

If you were feeling better, and are now worse, id be concerned about infection. However, if you’ve been more active, you might have done too much.
If you’re concerned, get advice from the GP.

Hi I’m in for an ERCP this week and I’ve to get blood test done tomorrow. Does anyone know if this is a fasting blood test? The appointment was arranged on the phone so I don’t have a letter to refer to for info and it’s a bank holiday here today so I can’t get anyone on the phone!
