For the last few weeks, my upper arms have been aching, but only when bent at the elbow. It's a dull ache, as if I've just been carrying something heavy. It aches when I try to straighten my hair or brush my teeth. Sometimes I get pins and needles at night. When arms are straight or positioned with elbows close to my body they are fine.
Thighs and knees have started aching recently when I bend my knees or go up stairs. Like if I'm bending down to refill paper in a printer (I work in an office) it aches. If my legs are straight or I am walking on the flat, they feel fine. Kneeling down can be quite painful too.
My energy levels are fine. No tiredness or exhaustion. I'm 30 so a bit young for these things to be age related (I hope).
I tried the GP who reassured me it wasn't a stroke. I didn't think it was but still good to know. And then said just to wait and see for a few weeks. But these symptoms are so unusual for me and I'm worried about what it could be.
