Has anyone had or seen something like this before?

I’ve had this lump for maybe 4/5 years. Docs said it seemed fine by just looking at it. Then around 2 years ago it became a little raised and red. Again not bothered. It’s playing on my mind and I can’t find anything similar online? Any help appreciated

Yes I’ve got something very similar, originally thought it was a bite from holiday but it’s still there. No pain just unsightly. Must get it checked by docs.

From Dr Google I think they may be a A dermatofibroma

‘is a fairly common skin growth that usually appears on the lower legs, but may appear anywhere on the body. These mole-like growths are benign (noncancerous.) ‘

What did yours end up being?

I have something similar, I thought it was a scar from a spot that I had in 2020 but saw the doctor who (rudely) laughed at my concern but then looked at it under a special magnifying glass and said it was a type of cyst. It doesn’t hurt but sometimes looks a bit redder. Definitely get it checked again if you’re concerned though.
