Lesion picked up on ct scan

I know no one can really tell me anything, but not knowing much is driving me crazy. I recently had a ct scan with dye pumped into my veins after being breathless post covid. It's picked up a 2cm lesion in my right breast. I've also got an 1100 d dimer level. How much information can be gleaned from a ct scan with dye? I'm supposed to be on the urgent pathway, but not sure how well that's operating right now, and the above information is all I have.

Hi,
That's really worrying for you
The CT scan is very much a blunt instrument, and I expect they will send you for a pet scan or similar to identify what it is

Obviously, you will be worried to death, but it could be a benign cyst
