How does your adhd present itself?

I've been reading a lot of posts here saying 'adhd mum'. I'm wondering a. How you got diagnosed and b. How it presented itself.

A psychiatrist diagnosed me because I asked them to assess me.

It would take me all day to try and write down how it 'presents' - I mean it's just me, I don't differentiate between me and the ADHD (or the autism), it is who I am.
