I know that sunbeds are a really bad no no - but -

I have got seriously bad acne on my backside and don't know how to get rid of it.
I went to the doctors about many, many years ago and she told me I'd grow out of it. I went again to a different dr several years ago and got a similar response. It took a lot of effort and embarrasment to go to the drs, I don't think I can face going again.

Do you think a few sun bed sessions will clear my skin up or is there something more natural.
I am getting desperate.

My face has never had it thankfully. Just seems to be in that one place although now it's going to the tops of my legs too.

A scrub would probably do just as well without aging your skin (and giving you a saggy arse too).

Get some facial scrub, a puff thing and twice a week, take all the old skin off. Also clean up your died. More green stuff than nice things, a vitamin supplement is good too.

A sun bed will give you a tanned arse but not necessarily a clear unblemished one.

I take vitamin supplements every day and always use a puff thing with a body scrub.
It's usually just a bit annoying but really, really bad at the moment.

More water would probably help.

You're right though. I don't want a sagging backside instead!

Have you tried the pill? It does clear up spots for some women?

I suppose I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go back to the drs.
Feel a fool and too old to have acne and don't relish the thought of sticking my backside out for him to peer at!

Maybe he'll prescribe the pill without looking at it? [hopeful]

Oh no doubt he will not want to look at your bum. I'm sure he sees far too many of them, but hey, at least he won't be asked to stick his hand up yours!

(whisper) i've got terrible skin and use sunbeds sparingly BUT

is what you've got on your bum really "acne"? could it be more sluggish circulation from sitting on it all day? origins microdermabrasion stuff is seriously good (if expensive)

PS it's not just any pill, it's probably dianette, which is great for acne but makes me go a bit mad if i stay on it too long.

Please please don't go on sunbeds, they just aren't worth it. I've had malignant melanoma and I've seen 2 people die from melanoma (1 was in her early 30s)

You may not have high risk skin, but I'd look at all other options for treatment - deffo go back to GP.

And I do sympathise, I still get spots (on face) & I'm over 40
