Sore dry itchy skin

Has anyone had this - patch of dry skin below my bottom lip, very very itchy, flares up when the weather changes (recently colder here and it's really angry). Also flares up when I'm run down. Really don't know what to put on it or how to manage it and I'm so self conscious of it (it's really angry looking!). Could probably get a pic if that would help.

I have stopped putting makeup on that part of my face, don't use lipsticks or anything like that, wash my face with a plain cerave wash after brushing my teeth. Don't smoke or drink and I don't think particular foods trigger it.

Thank you to anyone with advice!

I had a strange flare up near the corner of my mouth, when it seemed to expand the doctor recommended some greasy cream, forgotten the name, but if anything it made my skin worse. Oddly in desperation I bathed it in a tea tree solution and it went away. So difficult to work out what to do when these things happen!

Go and see a pharmacist They are good at treating such things

Thank you for your responses - I did go and see a pharmacist actually and she said to make a scrub out of honey and sugar and scrub it... Didn't work unfortunately and actually made it more sore. That was a while ago though so worth visiting another one I suppose.

Pharmacists are no more guaranteed than doctors to treat
I am afraid but they can triage
