DD1 and her blooming Asthma...

shes wheezy again today..only finished steroids last week again inhaler is helping but not for long within 30mins she is wheezing again..so do we need to go to a+e again? She is seeing consultant on 17th march as she was put down as urgent referral last time we were in a+e about 2wks ago..As per usual she is fine in herself and continues to play but drs in a+e have told me this is bad as she is getting too used to the wheezing so not resting as she should be. What am I supposed to do?

I would think better now than in the middle of the night. Sorry. Hope she gets better soon. Seems to be a lot of it around at the moment, doesn't there.

foxinsocks she has a lot of it anyway we are at a+e about once a month and the gps and the walk in centre..its fecking annoying. She is only 2.2 and been like this from 3mths old.

Poor you and her. I hope the consultant will be able to come up with some better ideas to help her.

Yep, go to A & E, always better to err on the safe side. Once she has seen consultant, hopefuly you can have contingency plans - say to nebulise at home if she wheezes possibly, so you can avoid a & e. Hope DD is bettre soon.

arghh now dd2 just bloody chucked up..they keep getting bugs all the time at the minute. DD1 has asked to go to bed so given her inhalers again and will just keep checking on her the next hour or so.

lol TC thanks but sleep is not happening. DD2 has been throwing up and DD1 is still wheezy but not as bad..so borderline ..lol
Of course all asleep now but as per usual I feel crap.
