Weird symptoms- GP or not

i was on hols last week and on the last night (early hours) I had cramps and few loose stools - thankfully I was ok by the time the flight left in the afternoon - was so desperate to get home! I thought it was something I ate. I also noticed my heart rate was high like when you have a temperature or infection (have a Fitbit but could also feel it racing a bit).
Since getting back my poo has been ok but I don’t have much of an appetite and my lower stomach feels quite sensitive if that makes sense. My heart rate is still a bit elevated - it’s usually low 60s at rest but it’s more mid-70s-80. If it was over 100 I’d def be getting medical advice as per Dr Google!
I don’t feel ill in myself - I am working - but feel a bit flat and down like I have no motivation and am only doing the bare minimum.
Seems a bit weird to go to GP, but I have digestive issues anyway (although not usually the lower part) and the heart thing is weird.
I could prob get an urgent appt tmw but they’ll prob say ‘virus’ or just take bp and listen to chest. just wondered if it’s a weird virus and if anyone else has had similar (I had covid last month so v unlikely and have no respiratory symptoms). No temperature as I checked that as soon as we got home on Sunday night. Dh is fine also he did say he was a bit nauseous the night I had the loose stool, he’s fine now.

Probably just a virus, an increased heart rate is common with an infection, I recently had an ECG because mine got so fast with a flu virus. Probably best to get it checked out, just to be safe

@Blinky21 - thinks. I had more diarrhoea last night just as I was about to pop to a friend’s so that was quickly cancelled! Will see how I go today.
