Hey,

Has anyone ever successfully treated keratosis Pilaris or know what I could use that would help? I have it very bad on the backs of my arms, particularly after having my second baby.

Thanks

My daughter's cleared completely through a combination of using an exfoliating scrub every time she showered and this cream https://www.ameliorate.com/ameliorate-transforming-body-lotion/13752193.html

AMELIORATE Transforming Body Lotion

Buy AMELIORATE Transforming Body Lotion from AMELIORATE.

Cerave works brilliantly for me.

I stopped using shower gels and switched to soap. This had the added bonus of a lovely smelling linen cupboard as I harden off my soaps in there.

Cerave sa scrub and moisturiser made mine completely smooth after a few weeks

Dermatologist recommended a urea cream and under no circumstances to use a body scrub. The urea cream works and obviously body scrubs work for some people.

Korea Italy towels really improved mine.

Glycolic acid is reported to help a lot.

Does anyone know of anything suitable for a 1 year old for keratosis pilaris

Wiglio · 19/04/2024 17:22

I get rid of it with Eucerin but it’s thick and water imiscible, gluey stuff.
when the bottle is empty it’s gone and I maintain with coconut oil from the grocery section.

I use this as well plus other products from the same brand such as the mud clay body wash and this same lotion but the orange scented one.
I also use the ceravè smoothing wash and cream. Has definitely improved significantly.

Think these creams and lotions will be a bit harsh for a baby. I used shea butter for eczema and sudocreme for other rough skin conditions. Not sure if this might be an option for you. The regular ceravè will be fine but it isn't aimed at KP.
