Unexplained bruising/coagulation screen

Hello, Just looking on here to see if anyone has any similar experience, I have always bruised easily, right through my childhood I was covered in them. But i was rather clumsy and was always falling. Over the past month or so i noticed i was getting loads of unexplained bruises. I had not knocked my legs and it was an abnormal amount. Some in massive clumps. I went to my GP and she sent me for a coagulation screen to see if i have a clotting problem, I am just asking on here as everything i am reading is just worrying me a bit.

If you have ever had unexplained bruising, what did it end up being caused by?

If you were found to have a clotting problem, What was your next step? Medication or anything else?

TIA Smile

I have an elevated INR ratio. Mine is 1:1.6. I get weird bruises all down my inner arm which is obvs hard to bruise. GP told me if o was on blood thinners they'd be aiming for a 1:2 ratio so while mine isn't normal it isn't a worry
