I have threadworms treated three days ago kids symptoms gone mine still here. Took ovex friday and clearly have an active infestation
What can I do?! Getting me down now :(

Speak to a pharmacist and ask how soon you can take another dose of ovex

Ovex takes a few days to work as it starves them rather than chemically killing them. It's good they are coming out as its better that they are out rather than being still inside.

When my daughter had them, about 5 days after treatment she had a poo with tonnes of them in it. I was horrified as it was worse than I'd seen so far. A couple of days after that it all cleared up. I read afterwards that this could have been because the treatment had made them too weak to cling onto the bowel wall so they all came out. Hopefully it's the same for you.
