has anyone ever had a reacted bug bite that went red again after a week!

i started a new job and noticed I had a big bite on my arm and leg. They healed but I noticed today they have went red again!! I struggle with heath anxiety and so I googled and came up with some scary stuff. Does anyone have a reaction like this

This happened to me recently with a wasp sting. About two weeks after the sting it came up in a red itchy patch which looked a bit like yours. Phoned GP and they asked for a photo which I sent and GP took a look and said best to take antibiotics as it could turn into skin infection. It’s absolutely fine now- started getting better after 48 hours of antibiotics. Possibly give 111 a ring for advice? Or ring gp tomorrow?

Thank you for the reply. I wish I hadn’t googled it 😢 mine popped up just over a week ago and started to fade with cream then I went in the bath today and it reappeared really red

Have you taken any antihistamines? I can't use the bite creams as they make my skin worse, but a standard snti-histamine always works, as does HC Cream.
