What could this be? Been chopping basil leaves from m&s for dinner and out of nowhere one of my fingers has started feeling numb, and turning a browny colour and the skin started feeling scaly /peeling. My mum then rubbed a piece on her finger and the same happened to her! Could it be pesticides or some sort of chemical on it? We washed it before. So strange! Scared to eat it now 😂eat it loads so defo not allergic.

It's to do with the basil being high in nutrients. Quite common for it to irritate the skin
