Ankle/foot pain only when walking?

For the last week or so I have a new pain in one foot, which has slowly been getting worse. No pain at all on rest or if I move it side to side/up & down. It is just when walking, feels like bone not muscle.

Resting it, but not sure if I should try & get an X ray via GP next week or minor injuries, will see if it changes over the weekend.

Sometimes walking it stays bearable, other times suddenly changes to can't move then rights itself?

I know no one can diagnose, but if anyone had similar or thoughts on what it could be, would be grateful.

If you can’t move, then it eases, sounds like plantar fasciitis

Thank you for replying, I had a read but it's not the heel more ankle bone & top of foot. But will see what happens over the weekend. Thanks again.

See an osteopath.

I had similar OP. It started about 6 weeks after I had turned my ankle while walking on rough ground.
It was excruciatingly painful across the top of my foot towards the toes, but only when walking, and the mystery was that it was intermittent.
My GP sent me to a physio, who looked at the slight swelling at the ankle, and dismissively told me it was a grade 1 sprain that would be OK in a few weeks.
It took several weeks to recover fully, and I remember the only thing that helped was wearing walking boots.
