Hey guys, I'll try make this as short and sweet as possible...

My symptoms are all happening from my bum and have been happening since around march time and are as follows:

Bleeding from behind every time (quite bright tbh)
Change in bowel habits (sometimes hurts to poop a little ball, most of the time it's just like there's nothing even there...but there is if you know what I mean...??
Mucus (with blood) CONSTANTLY - I can't even trust a trump without this nowadays
Pain like a throbbing pain if I'm on my feet for a while or if I've pooped a little ball
Stomach pains (like gas) but they radiate to my back too - these aren't constant but do occur every day at some point...
I'm knackered all the time and I've lost quite a-bit of weight even though I'm trying to eat more

I've had a internal exam, a colonoscopy and a CT scan which showed.....nothing at all not even a haemorrhoid or anything....

Any thoughts on what to do now? And what it could be or if anyone has been through anything similar....

Thankyou for reading xxx

Hi, I’m sorry you are going through this.
I have endometriosis and it has affected my bowl and has caused me several issues. I have bleeding but only during a period. However it can affect bowel habits, I also have similar pain especially across my back. I only mention it as it can be very hard to get a diagnosis and it may be worth mentioning it - even if it’s just to add it to your list of things you have ruled out.
I would 1000% be back to your specialist and explain that you need answers and request for further tests to be done as a matter of urgency, it is not nice for you living with this uncertainty.
I really hope you get this sorted and quickly. X

Yes I’ve had/have this.
So much blood in the toilet the water was bright red and I couldn’t see the bottom of the toilet. Mucus. Pain. The works.
I was convinced I had cancer.
I had to wait an age for a colonoscopy. I felt the colorectal surgeon was really dismissive as he insisted it was caused by constipation and asked the Drs to prescribe Resolor.
Turns out he was right. Although I didn’t feel I was constipated as I was going to the toilet with no issue, it seems hard stools can scratch the delicate lining, hence the blood and mucus, and also restricted movement through the intestines caused the pains.
I take Resolor daily and problems have pretty much resolved.
Seemingly menopausal women can suffer really badly with bowel issues. Mine did all start when I was peri.
