Sedation

I had sedation for a colonoscopy today.
Ive been home since 12 and still feel drowsy. Has anyone else had this? googling it brings up different answers so I’m a bit confused. They did tell me but I can’t remember what they said as I’d just had sedation 🤦🏻‍♀️
I was planning on going to work tomorrow. Will it have worn off by then? X

I've had sedation for colonoscopy and endoscopy, and it always wore off within a very short time (20 minutes max).

That’s what I had last time. I’ve stopped the initial almost asleep /lack of awareness bit but still feel like I’ve been run over. Found a leaflet online which says it can take 24 hours which is why we are told not to drive. Maybe it’s normal?! Not sure!

Well within the normal range. Normal instructions are to have a sensible adult with you and don’t drive/operate dangerous machinery/sign important documents for 24hrs (longer if still feeling wonky).
