Low Folate

I’ve had some blood tests and results show low folate, I haven’t started any treatment yet cause my doctor can’t see me until next week. I’ve been getting weekly headaches and this past week my lips have gotten really dry and the corners of my mouth are sore. Is this likely linked to the low folate?

I get sore cracks at the side of my mouth and it seems to chime in when I'm low on vitB. You can buy folic acid for pregnancy - i was advised to take that plus a vitb12 spray.
