Would you get this looked at or wait till Monday for GP?

It went down a bit after hydrocortisone cream then came back up.

Glad you are getting it looked at OP. Hope you do t have a long wait to be seen.

SunflowersAndSmellyTrainers · 14/10/2023 18:31

@FlyingUnicornWings - let us know how you get on.

You're not being a drama queen at all.

Good to get it sorted quickly - hope the wait isn't too long.

Hiya! I got a callback from the out of hours gp (thought I’d give 111 a call before trecking to a&e) Sent her a pic and she’s prescribed antibiotics. 💪🏻

@FlyingUnicornWings

From the nhs site - advice on cellulitis- read the bit under "things you can do yourself" .... here's the link, it's very useful information if you've not read it

Hope it heals quickly

How's it going @FlyingUnicornWings ?

FlyingUnicornWings · 24/10/2023 12:31

@SunflowersAndSmellyTrainers I’m sorry I’ve only just seen this! Yes the antibiotics has cleared it up nicely! (And the poorly feeling I had along with it). Wound is still a bit red, but no longer infected 💪🏻
