My body is meh @ absorbing iron - always has been.

Was super premature - - 9 weeks early - - had to have help re iron when born

Been through it with my health the past 2.5 years
Had covid before vaccines.
Glandular fever year after etc

Now got CFS.

Anyway - .... iron -
Unfortunately my feretin was only 8 in April

Had Iron IV in hospital early May - number went up to 252 - felt ace for a week - best id felt in a year
Then blood in poop // positive Qfit test

Then urgent colonoscopy etc etc

Anyway - had an early miscarriage in sept.

Took floradix iron liquid orally - for the last month
Made no difference to my feretin number - gutted..

Started oral iron spray today
Apparently by spraying this into cheek
And / or under tongue - it goes into your blood etc...

[ we dunno why floradix liquid made no difference - maybe a ' gut issue ☆ .. i have an abdomen ct scan this month for other checks/ issues anyway ]

Anyone else taking oral iron spray & / or keeping an eye on feretin number - - - any positive stories - - has it helped any1 ?!

Many thanks

Feretin sits @ approx 100..
Id like it nearer 200
As felt so much better when it was 252
