I pull my eyelashes out

Have done for years.

I have almost no upper eyelashes on one eye at the moment & I think it's becoming infected. It's really itchy.

Any advice appreciated. I've never sought help for it...

I'm otherwise totally 'normal'(!)...

It is a known thing!
If you think it’s getting infected you should try a warm compress and contact 111.
You ought to get some help to stop, eye infections can be nasty.
