I was on hols last week and did get some mosquito bites.

But this week I’ve found more (6 days since I came back), they’re itchy, red and look just like mosquito bites.

I wondered if they might be bed bug bites but they are isolated, not clustered and there is no other sign on sheets etc.

For context, I’m also recovering from Covid and on HRT.

The doc said it could possibly be bed bugs or just a random reaction but it was all very vague!

I'm going for another set of mosquito bites - has been more than warm enough.

Thank you. The thing is, I’m stuck in the house and haven’t opened my windows much. I get a new couple of bites each day and it’s rare for me to get mosquito bites in the UK, even in the height of summer.

I wished I knew what they were.

Examine your soft furnishings with a torch when it's dark, seams in mattresses and sofa's.

Thanks, yes I tried it and no signs at all so far. Maybe it’s early days. I’ve washed and tumbled bedding on a high heat today.

Could you have a flea infestation?

I've seen loads of mosquitoes lately to my horror

I don’t have pets and haven’t been around any so not sure about fleas.
