I had my daughter 13 months ago she is my first. I had a c-section and i gained like 60 lbs i know too much but i am confused i hate my body!!!!!!!! My stomach is huge i still look at least 5 months pregnant i cant wear any shirts to hide it i am not exagerating when i say i look five months preg still i dont know what to do! I am not expecting to look like i did before but this is ridiculous and i also have a hernia from the surgery but i dont think that has anything to do with it but i am just seeking someone elses opionion. I am sick of hearing its nothing because i have never seen anyone with this problem, even my family doesn't understand.

Are you still much heavier than you were before you got pregnant? If you lose the weight and work on your abs, the situation should improve.

Not sure what to say about the hernia - don't doctors treat those?

me too unfortunately and I've had 3. Sorry to say it just gets worse each baby...

...But, it might be worth you getting investigated for separation of your abdominal muscles. This is what has happened to me and happens to most women when pregnant, unfortunately for some of us, it doesn't always spring closed again and this can make the bulging worse. i'm off to see a physio soon to be advised on exercises - you can't do normal sit ups cos they make it worse

I have had this since I had abdominal surgery, similar to a C-section..in my case it is caused by fluid retention over the scar..I can tell as its very firm and not flabby. Could this be the case with you? I also feel 5 months pregnant, it's awful
