My mum was sent into hospital by Dr on Thursday evening with a suspected uti. They took a urine sample and said they would grow a culture and sent her home with ciprofloxacin. I'm getting more concerned the longer she is taking it. The warnings about it are dire and you may not get side effects for months. Website says:
Fluoroquinolone antibiotics can cause serious or disabling side effects that may not be reversible. We haven't heard what the results of the test was. I'm not sure what I'm asking here - I guess has anyone any experience of this antibiotic?
