Underactive thyroid?

Hi,

I posted about a week ago about a bulge in my neck where my thyroid is - think it's called a goitre. Rang the doctor who wanted a photo - he said it's likely just swollen due to my flu around 3 weeks ago..

However, the lump hasn't gone down at all, I've been feeling horrendous for the past 3-4 weeks - exhausted, no energy, headaches, I feel like all my strength has gone- finding it hard to go upstairs and hot. I don't cope well with heat anyway but this summer I've been absolutely boiling like never before. I know underactive is more cold but in the winter I'm also freezing and have numerous blankets. I'm also suffering with infertility.

Does this sound like an underactive thyroid? I don't want to go against my doctor but the way I feel is just awful - I cannot see this is from flu.

Just make another appointment - problem has been given time but not gone away, time to have another look.

@AnnaMagnani

I am definitely going to insist on a blood test next week. It just worries me in the meantime
