Does this sound like vaginal thrush?

Have had an uncomfortable feeling down below for last 4 days - uncomfortable but not painful and very itchy at times (particularly around the vaginal hole - sorry if TMI!). Visibly red. Whats most annoying is the feeling of something being stuck down there - like the feeling you get when you sit down after a tampon hasn’t been inserted fully/correctly, again sorry if TMI.

I haven’t had sex in a few weeks so don’t think it could be from that.

No bad smell, no pain when peeing and no stomach / back aching either so don’t feel like it’s BV or a UTI.

I used Canestan thursh cream last night which has taken the edge off the uncomfortableness but still feel like something is ‘stuck’ or sticking out for lack of a better term.

Has anyone had anything similar or know if this sounds like thrush?

How old are you? I started with similar and ended up getting a GP appointment. It's perimenopause for me.

exactly what I had which turned out to be from scented Andrew loo roll and radox shower mousse when toiletries supplied in holiday house. Used only water for cleaning showering and showering quickly after the loo to “purify” again over a week. Only because of Mumsnet that I realised!

I had the same thing OP and it got worse and worse and worse. Taking a daily antihistamine for a while completely resolved it.
