I am 27 weeks pregnant (high risk) and am suffering with lower back pain (very recent)I called my maternity unit who said straight away to take paracetamol but I want to see how it goes. I have read the NHS website but there was a new study by the BMJ who stated in other words that they are more reluctant to advise paracetamol straight away est I think this is more associated with problems in male offspring but then Netmums had something similar written.
Also about an increase in asthma with children est/Stillbirth. I think this is more associated with constant frequent use.
Due to surgery early on in pregnancy I can not do all the normal recommended exercises for low back pain.
Have any women taken paracetamol at this gestation in pregnancy and if so how long for and was it related to their backache?
