Low phosphate levels

I recently had blood tests following a diagnosis of osteoporosis.

The clinic contacted me to say I have low phosphate levels and to have the bloods repeated in 2 weeks time.

I am of course googling and have myself worried sick already.

Does anyone know what low phosphate may mean (bearing in mind the osteoporosis diagnosis)?

I know it's been a few weeks since you posted but I have low phosphate and low vitamin d, Dr told me to take supplements for the vit d and that should bring up phosphate.
My results were 0.4 for phosphate and around 30 for vit d and 3 months after taking the supplements phosphate is up to 0.5 so got to retest again in 3 months. I know it's not much to go on and probably not much of a help but maybe worth checking vit d especially this time of year
