Anyone had one? I have a pigmented skin lesion on my arm and having a biopsy. Are they really painful? I know I'll have a anaesthetic but wondering when that where's off will it be really sore

Not really sore but I suppose it depends on where it is, how much movement that area has and if you are likely to knock it.

I had a couple.
they usually take a small round sample with an instrument that looks a bit like a biro pen.
got local for one spot (the injection was worst bit of the procedure) and just numbing cream another time.
felt a bit like an insect sting when numbing wore off.

I had one on the palm of my hand they cut a blister out. I had 4 stitches. It was a little bit sore when the anaesthetic wore off but not too bad at all. Was well worth it for me too.

I had one on my chest, it didn’t hurt was just uncomfortable but shortly after I got covid and I was so run down it got infected.
Get some bio oil to use as it heals x
