"bubble" like feeling in lower right abdomen accompanied with tightening up to rib

Posting in here as no response on the "womens health" thread so hoping for some here..

Hello!

I am just looking for some similar experiences and/or a bit of reassurance really please.

I have been having a weird "twinge" and "bubble like" feeling in the right hand side of my abdomen (low down) for quite some time now (id say on and off for around a year) the reason i say on and off is because i don't always notice it, but then when i'm focusing on it, it ruins my life for a couple of week until i probably have something else to worry about for a bit then it gets pushed to the back of my mind until i notice it again.

Its accompanied by persistent gas, sometimes lower back pain and i would say usually is more noticeable between ovulation and period - (but i am on the pill)

I remember it coming on last year and i'd recently been on the patch so i came off it thinking that was causing the problem but ive been back on the pill since Feb and it's not got any better.

Its not particularly painful, just feels like a "bubble" on lower right side, and also can just feel maybe a tightening going all the way up my right side under my right rib cage with it.

I have scared myself stupid with googling, but the positives are that i dont have bleeding between periods or after sex.. and i have also been in touch with GP who sent me for a load of blood tests, including the CA125, differential white blood cells, liver function, full blood count, coelic, the list goes on... which all came back completely clear.

She wants me to run my pill for 6 weeks before a break and see if i notice a difference as she's suspecting just hormonal or IBS maybe?

I'm just hoping if something sinister would a marker be up in my bloods to give this indication? That's the only thing holding me on to sanity right now, but not much if i'm honest. I have major health anxiety and always suspect the worst!

Sorry for the long post x

How are your bowels? Are you having plenty of fluids and fibre?
Only I was getting odd pains both lower and upper right quadrant, and my GP basically told me I was full of shit! The pain/weird feeling was hard/dry poop going round the bends. Adding chia seeds and scoopfuls of oatbran to my day has sorted it and I rarely get it any more.

Are you ovulating?

Ovulation can cause this type of feeling and could be higher for you if you are suffering from something like endometriosis etc

I mean to be honest i can get a bit constipated often which is probably not helping, usually down to stress/anxiety which i struggle with.

I do try and keep up a good diet although it doesn't involve chai seeds/oatbran so i will definitely give those a try and see if any changes!

Thank you for your reply :)

It does usually get worse between ovulation and period but I'm on the pill so I'm unsure how it actually works because surely i shouldn't be ovulating? But just seems to get worse around last 2 weeks of pill packet but i could be overthinking it.
