Breast pain on one side

About 12 months ago my toddler was lay on my chest falling asleep, he suddenly moved and I felt an excruciating pain in the boob he was lay on, it felt worse than a bite (we’d just stopped breastfeeding), it at the time felt like muscles in my boob had been torn apart, that’s the only way to describe it, I don’t know if he bit down and moved very suddenly at the same time.

The pain settled but after about a week I was left with a low level but relentless aches and pains in the boob, this lasted maybe a month or a bit more. Some days were better than others. The pain has pretty much been completely gone for around 9 months now.

Last week same toddler elbowed me right in the same boob sadly, and the exact same pain has come back! The elbow was nothing to really write home about, it probably happens every day to mums of toddlers all over the world, but it just seems to have restarted the exact same pain I was in 12 months ago. Is this long term boob damage?!

I have a doctors appointment for something unrelated next week so I may see if I can mention it then.
