Bladder prolapse. Does it affect your bowel movements?

I was diagnosed with a 'mild cystocele' in 2020 post childbirth, it was only mildly symptomatic IE minor urinary leakage if I were to run, jump etc.

I had it checked again in 2022 and it was still the same.

I don't remember it having any impact on my bowel movements back then but for the past 6 months or so I'm really struggling to 'go' properly. I'm routinely constipated and only passing small amounts when I do go. I'm taking a medication that has constipation as a side effect but strongly suspect the prolapse is making matters worse.

If anybody here has a pelvic organ prolapse has it affected your ability to empty your bowels properly?
