Dent/dimple in boob .. anyone pls

Hello

i know I should go to the GP But the amount of times I’ve been at the Gp this year for different health issues.. it’s running me mental just thinking of it

I’ve noticed changes in my boobs lately . I’m 38 so my boobs are less dense and are quite saggy because there’s no so much fat so I understand there may be some pockets of places on there where nothing can be felt . I have stretch marks on them though more severely on the left boob

im a bit worried that this is a dent ? But when I touch and press in there it feels so soft and no lump felt. I’m suspecting it’s because I’ve lost a lot of fat there that’s why it’s all uneven and looks dimply but does anyone have the same ?

ps it’s not really obvious without bright light and I think cos I’m dark skinned I can see it more . There’s also a line there which I suspect is a vein? Though I think I’ve had that there for a while and I had a scan 6 months ago and nothing was found . But the dent or dimple is new?

anyone pls ?

the first pic is without me lifting the boob up and the second and third is when I try to pull it up

thank you

@Anxiousx I hope it’s just a weight loss thing.
None of us will be able to tell you what you need to know. Even if someone did hazard a guess, there would still be doubt. Just get yourself to the doc and have them check it. Doesn’t matter if you’ve been lots. Good luck x

Definitely go. They are not going to be frustrated with you about getting checked for that.

If you really can't face the same practice go to a walk in centre

Stopsnowing · 27/09/2023 04:53

My sister had breast cancer. She couldn’t feel a lump. Get checked.

FiveShelties · 27/09/2023 04:57

I had a 'dent' and went to have it checked. Specialist thought it was nothing but said best to biopsy - and it was nothing.

If I had not have had it checked I would have kept thinking about it and wondering. Have it checked.

Tanfastic · 27/09/2023 05:15

I have something like this, hard to tell but is it near your armpit crease? If so do you have anything similar on the other side?

Mine is worse on one side than the other. But there is an obvious dent. I've recently had a mammogram etc so I'm not worried mine have always been there but if this is a new thing for you your mind won't be able to settle until you've had it checked out op.

Tanfastic · 27/09/2023 05:17

Sorry I've just seen you've said it's new so anything new needs to be checked out.

Thank you everyone

no it’s not near the armpit . It’s further down the middle side of the breast

just looks strange

Hi @Tanfastic. I was just wondering if you’ve had the dent in your armpit checked? I’m the same. I had a mammogram a few months ago and came back clear but this sent has appeared under my right armpit. The left is very minor but the right is quite obvious. It’s completely freaking me out (partly because my Mum has terminal cancer and I’m anxious and panicky these days anyway).

NotManyDaysTilChristmas · 07/12/2023 22:35

I don’t want to worry you at all but you need to get it checked. A colleague had a dent, no lump could be felt, but she did have breast cancer. A dent is one of the symptoms they tell you could be BC. Please go and ask for a referral to the breast clinic.

DGPP · 07/12/2023 22:36

Go to the GP, doesn’t matter how
many times you’ve been

Frazzledandfried · 07/12/2023 22:39

I say this as kindly as possible, but nobody on here can tell you that this is nothing to worry about. It may well be nothing but you need to be seen and assessed by a healthcare professional to make sure it's OK. Go see your GP, please.

Anjabme · 09/12/2023 04:35

Thank you all. I went to the doctor first thing this morning and they’ve referred me to the breast clinic. Hopefully I’ll hear something soon.
