Loperamide/Imodium

I took 2 of these tablets on Monday. I have ibs...the type that alternates between constipation and diarrhoea.

On Monday I had diarrhoea. I had to take the loperamide to get on with my day. I knew that I would suffer as a result.

It's now Thursday and I cannot go. I'm in a bit of pain. My belly is swollen. I look and feel terrible. I've taken many dulcolax tablets but nothing is happening.

I hate ibs. It should never ever be called 'just' ibs.

I've cancelled my plans for tomorrow and I am now drinking a bottle of red wine, not because I want to, but because I know from experience that it will reverse the effects of my loperamide.

I'm sick of this

I find one Instants is better than two normal imodiums. It stops the runs just enough without causing the constipation days later. Tbh just one normal can block me for three days so I tend to only use the Instants. More expensive but better for my body.

@AutumnFroglets thank you. I'm glad that I am not the only one. Next time I will only take one. Its honestly made me feel awful
