High WBC and high ESR

Hello

I had a blood test a week ago and they want to repeat it as I have a white blood cell count of 11600 and an ESR of 25.

I'm pretty worried now, what would it mean? I didn't feel unwell at the time.

High WBC would usually be a response to infection/bacterial or viral but also can be other inflammation. They’ll want to check that first before doing more investigations. Hope you get some answers soon.
