Stiches after Keyhole Surgery

I had keyhole surgery on my abdomen 3 weeks ago and had 19 dissolvable stiches put in over the 5 entry points . They haven’t started to dissolve at all. Is this normal?

Sometimes they are pretty much dissolved inside and a gentle tug will see them fall away.
I snipped mine out after around 3 weeks as they were starting to pull when I moved. The incisions will be well healed by now so you could just put a blade, or thin scissor, under the stitch so it breaks, then tug it gently to remove.

Thank you, don’t know if I am brave enough to do it, I am rather squeamish. I will pop down to my local treatment room.
