Odd query about night-sweats.

I've been getting these on and off or about 3 weeks, but each time they're preceded by a chill - I feel as though I can't get warm but according to DH I'm actually very warm indeed. And then about an hour or so later, I get the sweats. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'm not anxious to go to the doctor because I suspect s/he'll put it down to hormones thanks to the bfing (even though DD is now 8 months and I've never had this before).

Urinary tract infection?

No other symptoms, but I guess it still could be. Maybe I'll risk the GP after all.

Thanks, by the way.

Perhaps you're coming down with something. I occasionally have night sweats but have no explanation for it as it's a bit of a one off. Sorry can't be of more help.

If it's been 3 weeks and they don't go, probably wise to see your GP. I take it you're not going from breasfeeding straight to the menopause Don't scare yourself reading on the internet (there're lots of worse things out there apart from UTI), better some reassurance from the GP.
