Nail ridge

I’ve just noticed two ridges appear in one of my nails. Any ideas what may have caused it?

Sorry quite hard to pick up on pictures!

It’s can be an age thing apparently. I have them on a couple of nails.

Vertical nail ridges extend from the cuticle to the tip of the nail. With age, vertical nail ridges may become more numerous or prominent because of changes in cell turnover within the nail.
