2 weeks ago today, and had no problems afterwards. However, she was up most of last night complaining of earache. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal? I thought having the grommet put in was the end to all this

Think you should take her to the GP so they can take a look down her ear to see what's going on.

I couldn't get a docs appointment yesterday, but I took her to the practise nurse who had a look and said the grommet looked like it was in place. She suggested that DD may just be a bit stuffed up and said to use decongestion drops like karvol at night. I tried that last night and she slept better but is still saying her ear is sore today. Not too sure what to do next.

Do you think she is stuffed up AimsmumTheRedNoseReindeer, does she have blocked nose or anything else to go with the ear ache? Also how old is she, is it possible she is getting any back teeth through because that can give ear ache too?

She has just turned 4. I dont really think she is stuffed up, as she is breathing fine and doesn't seem bunged up or coldy at all. I dont think she is getting teeth in either.
She is hardly eating now as it is making her ear sore and is saying her ear is making "rumbling noises"????? I have just given her another dose of calpol and see how she goes. If she is no better I will take her to the out of hours surgery after 6 I think because I dont want to be left with her unseen all weekend if she is no better.
Thanks for your advice
