I'm afraid my incision is infected. I'm 5 weeks postpartum.

Yes, I'd be inclined to agree. GP as soon as they open, unless you've any immediately worrying symptoms such as fever or feeling unwell in which case call 111 (assuming you're in the UK) for urgent advice.

Thanks. I'm in the US. Called today and was fobbed off. I think I'll call and ask for an appt with my Dr tomorrow

Yes that definitely needs looking at today. Draw around it with pen so you know if it’s spreading. If you get a fever/chills then get yourself to urgent care.
