Polyps in Bowel

Anyone had these?
What were your initial symptoms?

I'm struggling with bowel movements and have been blaming it on a subserosal fibroid, pressing on my bowel.

Now I'm wondering if it's polyps in bowel or colon?

Did u do a qfit test ?
Sometimes that flags them

Polyps may not necessarily be large enough to cause a change in bowel habit. I had a colonoscopy after having a positive FIT test and had a polyp removed that was 3mm in size, so tiny. Even so, your symptoms need investigation if they’re ongoing.

Do you use a lot of scented candles or eat a lot of fibre?

Both of which can slow the movement of the bowel.

It's not me - my stepdad. He has lost a lot of family to bowel cancer and I'm worried.

DragonMama3 · 19/12/2023 22:19

He's retired and I don't think he has any scented candles.
