Nausea

I’ve had what I can only assume is a stomach bug or food poisoning for a few days and I’m still feeling really nauseous although I haven’t actually been sick. I’m finding the nausea debilitating. All I’ve been able to eat the last few days have been slices of toast, nearly managed two slices today, but that’s it and so I know I’m running on empty which isn’t helping the nausea. Does anyone know of any medication I can take to get rid of this nausea and start to get an appetite back? It’s really getting me down 😭

Try and eat/drink something sweet. The blood sugar drop after should make you hungry.

Try ginger/ginger tea. It can help the nausea.

You're going to think I'm making this up but, sniffing high alcohol hand sanitiser helps with nausea!

It's a temporary fix but might help you through the worst of the dizziness.

Can confirm. It's weird but a doctor recommended it to me when I had bad morning sickness (which became hyperemesis). I looked like I was huffing glue or something if I had to do it in public, but it took on the edge off.
